Appalachian Community Capital
Service area: Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Appalachian Community Capital is a nonprofit community development financial institution (CDFI) focused on attracting new sources of capital for small businesses, including minority- and women-owned businesses, in underserved places across Appalachia and similar energy communities nationally.

PA Wilds Center for Entrepreneurship

The PA Wilds Center for Entrepreneurship is a nonprofit dedicated to integrating conservation and economic development to strengthen and inspire communities in the Pennsylvania Wilds. By promoting the region as a sustainable outdoor recreation destination, it coordinates locally informed regional programming, stewardship, marketing, and entrepreneurial support while fostering rooted rural wealth, community character, and long-term resilience.
