UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

The UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Aspen CSG’s work share a common purpose: building a more just, inclusive, and sustainable future. While the SDGs outline a global vision to end poverty, reduce inequality, and protect the planet, Aspen CSG brings those principles into practice at the local level by focusing on rural America. Through asset-based strategies like WealthWorks and Rural Development Hubs, CSG advances economic opportunity (SDG 8), reduces structural inequities (SDG 10), and strengthens communities (SDG 11). At the same time, by convening philanthropy, government, and community leaders, CSG models the spirit of SDG 17—partnerships—ensuring that rural communities are not left behind but instead play a vital role in achieving global sustainability goals.
