CAPTURING SHARED IMPACTS OF THE PARTNERS FOR RURAL TRANSFORMATION

This Urban Institute report highlights how six organizations working across Appalachia, the Mississippi Delta, the Deep South, the Rio Grande Valley, Native communities, and the rural West are tackling persistent poverty through the Partners for Rural Transformation (PRT). By pooling capital, strengthening organizational capacity, and elevating rural voices in national policy, PRT is advancing a shared-impact framework that measures progress, expands investment, and fosters leadership rooted in local communities. At Aspen CSG, we see PRT’s collaborative approach as a model for how rural partnerships can transform persistent poverty into persistent opportunity—proving that rural communities can build wealth, power, and lasting resilience when resources and decision-making are grounded locally.
