Report provides evaluation of Community Builders program offering analysis of effectiveness of economic development or the perceived impact of the community builders process on rural communities where it has been piloted.
Overall, the Community Builders Process has shown to be related to an increase in economic development in the communities where it is located. The participants believe they have increased their leadership skills and knowledge and, ability to guide economic development activities in their communities. Report shows lack of linkage between community leaders and participants, highlighting a need for increase communication for community building.
