ONE APPALACHIA: CONNECTION AND COLLABORATION

The ARC 2022 Annual Conference, “One Appalachia: Connection and Collaboration,” brought together leaders, policymakers, and community changemakers to spotlight how regional collaboration drives lasting impact across Appalachia. Speakers highlighted innovative partnerships in workforce development, entrepreneurship, broadband expansion, and community health, emphasizing that Appalachia’s progress depends on aligning resources and building networks that work across county and state lines. By showcasing success stories from across the region, the conference reinforced a central theme: when Appalachian communities connect and collaborate, they not only strengthen local capacity but also create a unified foundation for long-term economic resilience and shared prosperity.
