The Rural Voices for Conservation Coalition (RVCC) develops practical guidebooks and tools to help practitioners, agencies, and community groups collaborate on land stewardship and restoration across the rural West. From supporting Good Neighbor Authority partnerships and shared stewardship agreements to creating checklists for cross-boundary projects, RVCC equips local leaders with strategies for navigating the transition from planning to implementation. These resources not only strengthen ecological resilience but also reinforce the economic and social fabric of rural communities. This work parallels the Aspen Institute Community Strategies Group’s (CSG) commitment to advancing collaborative, asset-based approaches that give rural leaders the knowledge and tools to sustain prosperity over the long term.
